Industry, Regulatory Capture and Transnational Standard Setting

This article describes the increased involvement of industry in international law and policymaking. It highlights the primary causes for the increased engagement, as well as the benefits of such participation. It then addresses the risk of informational and representative capture resulting from industry participation.
