Navigating Health and Biosecurity Law & Policy in Asia and Globally

Dr. Ayelet Berman is a Visiting Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and the Lead of the Law & Governance Program at the Asia Centre for Health Security. She is also on the faculty of the Centre for Infectious Disease Emergencies (CIDER) of the NUS School of Medicine. She previously led the Global Health Law & Governance Program at the National University of Singapore Centre for International Law (CIL).

Biosecurity is fundamentally about preventing harm, and the law plays a critical role in establishing the norms, standards, and enforcement mechanisms that make this possible.
