Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response | Submission of Recommendations

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response was tasked with looking into what went wrong and making recommendations for reform. It submitted its final report to the 74th WHA in May 2021. During the consultation process, A/Prof. Ayelet Berman, and other distinguished international colleagues, submitted a white paper reviewing the International Health Regulations. Ayelet’s chapter focused on monitoring mechanisms.
